Japan to Build World’s Biggest Floating Solar Farm

The joint venture Kyocera TCL Solar is going to develop a 13.4-megawatt floating solar power plant near Tokyo, on Yamakura Dam. This plant, constructed with Ciel & Terre’s patented Hydrelio® floating platforms, will be the largest throughout the world. This solution is very promising for Japan, which has limited ground space but counts numerous inland waters.
