Kyocera TCL completes work on floating mega-solar plants

Two floating mega-solar power plants’s construction has been completed in Katao city, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, with Ciel & Terre’s Hydrelio® floating platforms. Kyocera TCL is responsible for supplying the solar modules and linked equipment, plus construction, operation and maintenance. The two solar photovoltaic plants altogether should produce 3,300 megawatt hours per year, which is the equivalent of the power needed by 920 households.
