4th WATERWAY: 10,266 kWp

Located in Changhua, Taiwan, this 10266 kWp floating solar plant is installed on a Water storage with an area of 22,6 ha.

The platform is equipped with the aiR version of Hydrelio® technology and supports 25992 floating solar panels of 72-cell (TSEC modules). The total structure covers 38,03% of the water surface.

For this project, Ciel & Terre’s scope included:

• Supply of our Hydrelio® (made in Taiwan)
• Design of the floating platform and anchoring solution
• Construction & Procurement

Anchored at the Hybrid of the pond, the anchoring solution has been designed to meet a maximum of 14,2 m depth and a water level variation of 3,2 m.

4th Waterways floating solar plant has been constructed since June 2021. It will save 6 675 tons of CO2 per year. The equivalence of 3 743 homes consumption.
