AZALEALAAN: 1,845 kWp

Located in the Netherlands, this 1,845 kWp floating solar plant is installed on an agricultural reservoir with an area of 33,412 m² (3.3 ha).

The platform is equipped with Classic version of Hydrelio® technology and supports 6,150 floating solar panels of 60 cells (300W HANWHA Q CELLS standard modules). The total structure covers 47% of the water surface.

For this project, Ciel & Terre supervised the engineering of the floating PV system and the anchorage. Our scope included:

  • Supply of our Hydrelio® (made in France) and design of the floating platform
  • Design, supply and installation of the anchoring solution

Anchored to the banks of the pond, the anchoring solution has been designed to meet a maximum 15 m depth while dealing with a 2-m water level variation.

Azalealaan’s floating solar plant has been operational since June 2018 and generates green electricity to the local grid.
