CHANGBING: 88,038.76 kWp

Located in Taiwan, Changhua, this 88,038.76 kWp floating solar plant is installed on an open-sea with an area of 86.16 ha.

The platform is equipped with the aiR 1280 version of Hydrelio® technology and supports 279 488 floating solar panels of 60-cell (Canadian Solar modules). The total structure covers 83,64% of the water surface.

For this project, Ciel & Terre’s scope included:

• Supply of our Hydrelio® (made in Taiwan)
• Design of the floating platform and anchoring solution
• Construction & Procurement

Anchored at the Bottom of the pond, the anchoring solution has been designed to meet a maximum of 5 m depth and a water level variation of 4.25 m.

Changbing’s floating solar installation has been installed since September 2020.
