CUBA ESTE: 997 kWp

Located in Portugal, Beja District, Cuba, this 997 kWp floating solar plant is installed on an irrigation pond with an area of 5,6 ha.

The platform is equipped with the Classic version of Hydrelio® technology and supports 3024 floating solar panels of 72-cell (Suntech Power modules). The total structure covers 17.89% of the water surface.

For this project, Ciel & Terre’s scope included:

• Supply of our Hydrelio® (made in France)
• Design of the floating platform and anchoring solution

Anchored with an hybrid system, the anchoring solution has been designed to meet a maximum of 7,53 m depth and a water level variation of 7,53 m.

Cuba este’s floating solar installation has been operational since October 2019.
