FUKU IKE: 1,076 kWp

Located in the prefecture of Hyogo, Japan, this 1,076 kWp floating solar plant is installed on an irrigation reservoir with an area of 15,500 m² (1.5 ha).
The platform is equipped with Classic version of Hydrelio® technology and supports 9,072 floating solar panels of 60 cells (260W MITSUBISHI standard modules). The total structure covers 72% of the water surface.
For this project, Ciel & Terre supervised the engineering of the floating PV system. Our scope included:
- Supply of our Hydrelio® (made in Japan) and design of the floating platform
- Design of the anchoring solution
Anchored at the bottom of the pond, the anchoring solution has been designed to meet a maximum 2 m depth and a same water level variation (2 m, as the pond can be affected by drought).
Fuku Ike’s floating solar plant has been operational since June 2015 and generates green electricity to the local grid.
Specificity here: the construction was carried out on a dried surface.
