GOIAS FARM: 305 kWp

Located in Brazil, this 305 kWp floating solar pilot is installed on an agricultural pond with an area of 6,994 m² (0.7 ha).

The platform is equipped with Classic version of Hydrelio® technology and supports 1,150 floating solar panels of 60 cells (265W Canadian Solar standard modules). The total structure covers 46% of the water surface.

For this project, Ciel & Terre supervised the engineering of the floating PV system. Our scope included:

• Supply of our Hydrelio® (made in Brazil) and design of the floating platform
• Design of the anchoring solution

Anchored to the shores of the pond, the anchoring solution has been designed to meet a maximum 3 m depth while dealing with a 2-m water level variation.

Goias Farm’ floating solar plant has been operational since July 2017 and generates green electricity to the local grid.
