ICHINOMIYA: 2,242 kWp

Located in Takamatsu, in Kagawa prefecture, Japan, this 2,242 kWp FPV power plant installed on an irrigation reservoir with an area of 69,000 m² (6.9 ha).

The platform is equipped with Classic version of Hydrelio® technology and supports 6,498 floating panels of 72 cells (345W JINKO standard modules). The total structure covers 31% of the water surface.

For this project, Ciel & Terre operated as an IPP (Independent Power Producer) and project developer, supervising all the project development, and the engineering and construction of the floating PV structure and the anchorage. Our scope included:

• Management of project development
• Financing of the project
• Supply of our Hydrelio® (made in Japan) and design of the floating platform
• Design, supply and installation of the anchoring solution
• Operation and maintenance of the farm

Ichinomiya Ike’s floating solar plant has been operational since August 2018 and generates green electricity to the local grid. This is the 8^th project Ciel & Terre developed as an IPP in Japan.
