ROSEDALE: 1,039.68 kWp

Located in New Zealand, Auckland, this 1,039.68 kWp floating solar plant is installed on a water treatment pond with an area of 34 ha.

The platform is equipped with the aiR 1440 version of Hydrelio® technology and supports 2736 floating solar panels of 72-cell (JA SOLAR modules). The total structure covers 3% of the water surface.

For this project, Ciel & Terre’s scope included:

  • Supply of our Hydrelio® (made in Thailand)
  • Design of the floating platform and anchoring solution
  • Construction & Procurement

 

Anchored at the bottom of the pond, the anchoring solution has been designed to meet a maximum of 39.3 m depth and a water level variation of 3.3 m.

Rosedale’s floating solar installation has been operational since March 2020.
