TACHIAI OKU IKE: 835 kWp

Located in the prefecture of Hyogo, Japan, this 835 kWp floating solar project is divided in 2 islands installed on irrigation reservoirs with an area of 31,622 m² (3 ha).
The full system is equipped with Classic version of Hydrelio® technology and supports 3,212 modules of 60 cells (260W JINKO standard modules). The total structure covers 31% of the water surface.
For this project, Ciel & Terre supervised the engineering of the floating PV system. Our scope included:
- Supply of our Hydrelio® (made in Japan) and design of the floating platform
- Design of the anchoring solution
Anchored at the bottom of the pond, the anchoring solution has been designed to meet a maximum 3.8 m depth and a same water level variation (3.8 m, as the pond can be affected by drought).
Tachiai Oku Ike’s floating solar plants hav been operational since March 2017 and generate green electricity to the local grid.
