TOGAWA IKE: 2,359 KWP

Located in the prefecture of Hyogo, Japan, this 2,359 kWp floating solar construction is built on a retention pond with an area of 76,259 m² (7.63 ha).
The platform is equipped with Classic version of Hydrelio® technology and supports 8,733 floating solar panels of 60 cells (270W JIS modules). The total structure covers 32% of the water surface.
For this project, Ciel & Terre supervised the engineering of the floating PV system. Our scope included:
- Supply of our Hydrelio® (made in Japan) and design of the floating platform
Anchored at the bottom of the pond, the anchoring solution has been designed to meet a maximum 5.8 m depth and a same water level variation (5.8 m).
Togawa Ike’s floating solar installation has been operational since August 2018.
